Day 1: Demolition

This morning around 8am the guys showed up and began wrapping the place up.  They did a very thorough job protecting everything from dust and dents.  After the general contractor showed up with the appropriate permits, demolition began.  

First things first, the cut the carpet where the new wall will go and prepped for the new wall:

In the bathroom itself they removed the old shower/toilet room wall, the vanity, and the tiling:

You'll notice they left the toilet.  They have a few days before it has to come out, and the porta potty won't be delivered for a few days.  It'll stay for now.
